Primrose Hill listed house

NGA have been appointed to restore and reimagine a Grade II listed townhouse overlooking one of Primrose Hill’s most picturesque garden squares. Currently divided into flats, the house will be carefully returned to its original use as a single-family home, with a strong focus on creating generous entertaining spaces and an exceptional kitchen at its heart.

The project is in the early stages of design development, with studies underway to explore how the building can be reimagined for its creative owners — a family whose energy and style feel perfectly at home in the bohemian charm of Primrose Hill.

Built in the mid-19th century, the house sits within a terrace of painted stucco façades that form part of the area's rich architectural heritage. The square has long been associated with artists, writers and cultural figures, and continues to attract those drawn to its discreet charm and village-like atmosphere.

As with all NGA projects, the work will seek a careful balance — respecting the building’s historic fabric while introducing new interventions that speak to modern family life, creative energy, and quiet charm.
